Farm to School (NC State Extension) is a movement that strives to build a youth’s connection to healthy, local food through school gardening, farm field trips, hands-on cooking and nutrition education and sourcing of local fresh fruits and vegetables to school cafeterias.

N.C. Farm to School Program (NCDA&CS)
The program works with N.C. growers to supply school cafeterias across the state with the freshest, locally grown produce possible. Growers must meet certain criteria and apply for the opportunity to sell through this market.
