Summer 2013 Pre-plant Meetings ( as announced in July/Aug newsletter, The Strawberry Grower)

Plan to attend the meeting near you! Most meetings feature presentations by several extension experts (for example, Barclay Poling, Hannah Burrack, Frank lou- ws, and in virginia, Allen straw), as well as an opportunity for comparing notes with other growers about last season and plans for the next.

August 1 – Sandhills. At the sandhills Research station, 2148 Windblow Rd., Jackson springs, NC, 5:30-8:30 p.m. RsvP by July 26 to, 910-997-8255.

August 8 – Webinar, focusing on how to produce your own plugs. Accessible to anyone, online. Watch for details of how to log on and participate via email and at
